I don’t know much about my birth mother. The name i was given at birth was Thanh Thị Nguyen and my mothers name is Thuy Thị. I know she was 22 when I was born‚ making her birth year 1978. She had a sister‚ Chung Thị‚ who also gave birth to a daughter a month before me in March 2000. I know from stories that she was not present at the adoption ceremony and in her place was my birth grandmother.
