My amazing parents from the United States adopted my twin sister and I from Hanoi‚ Vietnam in 1998. I’ve never known my birth family or hometown. Turning 21 a few years ago‚ a beautiful Vietnamese woman from Hanoi Vietnam reached out to someone who was apart of the adoption process‚ who had come in contact with me and my family. She was looking for her two twin children she put up for adoption‚ with the same names and info as me and my twin sister had on our birth certificates. We were so excited. To make sure of it all‚ my sister and I took a blood test and we bought the Woman one too. All three tests came back negative. The mother didn’t match me nor my sister‚ and my sister and I didn’t match each other. That’s where I’ve been stuck ever since. I don’t even know if that’s my actual birth certificate the orphanage gave my parents. It was 24 years ago. I’ll be updating my page with the information that’s on my birth certificate — even though I don’t know if that information is 100% mine. We think it was an accidental switched at birth type of thing. So if you had a baby around July 12‚ 1998‚ in Hanoi Vietnam‚ and went through an organization with the word HOPE in it‚ please reach out or if you know anyone who could help me 💜
