I believe my adoption may have1 been through The Sisters of The Community Name CHN‚ an Anglican Order in Fitzroy Victoria who cared for young single mothers-to-be and later their babies who went up for adoption. Many of these adoptions were pre-arranged. I also believe that the nun who was involved in this was Sr Agnes Mary CHN who died many years ago and has a memorial at Retreat House Cheltenham.
