I was born at the Royal Womens Hospital in Carlton‚ Melbourne VIC on 3rd November 1970. My birth name at the time was Amanda Jane (do not know surname). According to the welfare summary that was typed up and given to my adoptive mother‚ my biological mother was 21 years old when she gave birth. Her sister was a nurse and looked after her. She was shy by nature and came from a large family. I stayed in the hospital for 6 weeks then was adopted out.
