Trying to find hertiage for my maternal grandmother (Emma Ella DeMarto) as she told my mom who told me. Only thing Emma ever was sure of was that was her name and she was born in 1890 Fall River Massachussetts and was at the St. Joseph’s Child Orphange in Burlington, Vermont. Not sure how long. There is what seems to be Louis Marteau (spelling ranges) whom would be from VT and on her death certificate it shows Ed Rousseau but I can not prove any of it. Hoping to find the true of how she ended up in the orphange.
