I was born in Springfield Vermont on February 9th‚ 1975. I was adopted at approximately two weeks old from the Vermont Children’s Aid Society. My Birth mother at the time of my birth was almost 18‚ 5’5 tall‚ with blonde hair and blue eyes‚ and of Irish heritage. She was the youngest of four girls. My birth mothers mother had died of cancer when she was 3 years old‚ and her father was working in a management position in a factory at the time of my adoption. My birth mother dropped out of high school in the 10th grade because of family problems‚ and supported herself after that. Around the time of my birth she had received a scholarship to return to complete high school. My birth father was 18 with blonde hair and enjoyed music and athletics. He was the youngest of four siblings (2 older sisters and an older brother). At the time of my adoption his father worked in a machine tool factory‚ and his mother was an RN at a local hospital (she once had a brain hemorrhage). At the age of four my birth father was diagnosed with cancer‚ and had a kidney and part of his liver removed. My birth parents were together at the time of my birth (made the decision together). "Both visited‚ took pictures‚ and said their goodbyes to Jennifer before she was discharged (February 20th) from the hospital. Vermont Children’s Aid Society has not heard from the birth parents since."
