I recently discovered my mom had given up a baby for adoption before she got married and had me and my siblings. The baby girl was born July 1‚ 1988 in Pocatello Idaho and then was adopted by a family in Utah. All the info she was given was this family had lots of boys and wanted a girl. This was a private adoption recommended by a friend of a friend‚ so my mom had no contact with the family directly and was never even told their names. She was also told they were members of the LDS church at the time. My mom has green eyes and the father had blue eyes‚ so the baby girl would have light eyes for sure.
