I have a half brother who was named Richard at birth, his father was Japanese, his father’s name was Yoshio Shintani. My mother was white , her name was Laurel Leone Jones, im not sure if they were married. He was born in Utah sometime between 1944 & 1945 when the country of Japan and America were at war. My mother’s family made her give him up because neighbors were hostile to them because she was with a Japanese man and had a Japanese baby. Her grandmother took the baby and said she found him a family who would adopt him. Both my mom and the father are deceased now. We’ve been searching for years, he would be about 71-73 yrs old today. I really don’t know when he was born, my mother refused to talk about him.
