My birth parents were very poor farmers. My father had been previously married with multiple children. She passed away I think and then he married my mother and had me. He was in his 60’s and my other in her 40’s. My dad had hurt his back and could no longer work, so he walked me from Incheon where I was born, to Seoul to be adopted. My foster mother gave me the name Bok Sun Kee. I was told my parents were illiterate. I don’t really know much else.
