My father was adopted in Abilene‚ Texas. Many times he considered looking for his birth mother but was too afraid or uncertain. He passed away in 2005 and I have been desperately trying to access the information. I feel like there is a piece of my father I can still have out there somewhere. I know he was adopted from a church of christ adoption center in Abilene. The family that adopted him were from Arkansas with the surname Foushee. The father was described as being blonde haired and blue eyed from the parts of the adoption application I have been told about (my father‚however‚ had black curly hair and dark brown eyes). I believe the birth mother also described his colorful hobbies on the application. I don’t know if the birth mother was informed of his name once he was adopted but his full name was Jospeh Wayne Foushee.
