Shortly after my birth in September 1969‚ I was placed for adoption through Depelchin Faith Home in Houton‚ Texas. The limited information I have follows. It seems that I was born at home or somewhere other than a hospital. At some point after my birth‚ my birth mother did go to Jefferson Davis Hospital. She was admitted on or about September 25‚ 1969 which is only a few days from my date of birth. I am unsure whether her admission had anything to do with my birth. When giving her history‚ she reported an age of 18. She noted that my birth father was 21 at the time of my birth. My birth mother was the second oldest of eight children. She had an older sister who was married at the time of my birth. She and the other siblings lived at home. My maternal grandmother was a housewife and my maternal grandfather was a tall man (over 6’3")‚ and he was a machine operator.
