She was told that her mother was living and working in New Orleans when she got pregnant and then returned home to her family in Texas. She also told her that her birth father was working in New Orleans on an offshore oil rig and that his name was Franklin. But her birth mother either has no additional information or refuses to tell her anymore. She has tested on 23 and me and ancestry and the results have been uploaded to My Heritage and GedMatch.
