I was told that I was the 5th child born to a family who could not afford another child. I was born in Ft Worth Texas. My adoptive family connected to the birth family through a group of ministers who facilitated such connections back then. I believe my adoptive parents were called to the hospital when I was born. They paid the hospital and legal bills and took me back to Montague County within 2 days of my birth in 1956. I assume I was the youngest child so I’m searching for siblings.
