I am looking for the daughter I gave up for adoption. She was adopted by a couple from Texas but she was born in Idaho. I dont want to interfere in her life if she's not open to communication and I would respect her boundaries. Due to medical issues that have come to light in the last 15 yrs I have been advised to at least try and make some form of contact to alert her to this issues as they are genetic and life altering‚ one condition carrying a very serious possibility (two of my grown children have inherited one of the conditions and have chronic issues due to just the one). Neither lawyer involved with the adoption is willing to help and I was told the records were "lost". Please help. At the bare minimum I want to make sure she knows what the possibilities are.
