I am looking for my Father’s birth family. I know he was adopted from Volunteers of America and that his birth mother was 19yrs old and had been placed in a home for unwed mothers, she was of German decent. I also know his birth father was French he was working for the Postal Service and going to school to be a lawyer at the time of the adoption. My father was born on Aug. 22, 1961 and his birth certificate says he was born in Fort Worth, Tx but we don’t know which hospital he was adopted at 2 weeks old.
