My father‚ Bernard Gilbert Medola (deceased) ‚ was adopted on December 2‚ 1927 through Home of Holy Infancy (it was not known by this name at this time but Marywood Maternity and Adoption Services had the records in 1984 but they have since closed. His adoptive parents names were Domingo Sabatino Medola and Rosa Paniagua Medola from San Antonio‚ Tx. He was told that he was born in Waco but I cannot find any records to show this. He was in the hospital from 1/3/27 to 2/3/27. His bio mother went into the hospital on 12/18/1926 and was discharged 1/27/27. I do not know the name of the hospital. His birth mother named him Bernard. He went by Gilbert and was unaware of the name Bernard until he was entering the military. The father's last name may be Jones.
