I was born in Houston, TX, April 27, 1962 & immediately adopted to Robert & Mary Jo Douglass from Okla. City, OK. According to my original birth certificate, my birth mother was 18 years old, from Beaumont, TX., & her name is Susan Miller. There is no father’s name listed. It was a private adoption, arranged by a doctor & attorney who were friends of the adoptive family. My father apparently wrote a letter to my birth family stating that I had died, & it was passed through the doctor &/or lawyer. So, my birth family may not be looking for me.
