I am currently seeking to find out how to obtain a copy of my little sisters original birth certificate that hasnt been photo shopped. My grandfather had adopted my baby sister when she was about 6 or 7 months old due to him traveling back and forth between here and germany quite often but considering he only had partial custody of her it made obtaining a passport for her difficult without having our mother present as well. Now that she is 17 we have grown very close and well apparently my grandfather had been lying to her for her entire life saying my mom was her sister and that she was my aunt. She is now seeking evidence to take to my grandfather that way he will have to tell her the truth once and for all. It wont change her love for him as if hes her father because legally and technically he is he raised her as if she is his own daughter but the facts are biologically hes just her grandfather.
