Searching for half-sibling‚ I think a sister‚ but my mother was sedated for birth and was only told she had had a girl. My mother had a baby in September 1966 or 1967 while a student at TCU in Fort Worth‚ TX. I don’t know a specific date because by the time I was brave enough to search‚ my mother had developed dementia and wasn’t a reliable source of information. I was afraid to ask before that point because it seemed like a painful subject for her‚ and she said several times that she didn’t want to interrupt the life of the daughter she gave up. “What if she doesn’t even know she’s adopted?” She told me in the past that she was at a home for unwed mothers‚ thinks it was called something like "The Home Place"‚ im assuming in Fort Worth. I wish to find my half sister to hopefully get to know her‚ and to give her any information she may be seeking about her biological mother. Unfortunately‚ my mother has passed away since my original post I’m so sorry you won’t get to meet her.
