I was born 02/021951 in Wichita Falls, Texas at Bethania Hospital to Aleta Goetsch and Nelson Shaffer. My parents were from Montcalm, Michigan. They came to Texas for me to be born. I am a girl. My half brother’s daughter told my sister that her mom said she thought I had a twin brother who as adopted by either a relative or close friend but she wasn’t sure. My half brother was stationed in Texas at Fort Hood. My dad visited him and his wife while in Texas. I don’t know if the adoption was in Texas or Michigan (if it was a close friend or relative, it would have been Michigan. My adoption was through Children’s Aide Society in Wichita Falls. My parents were told they had a boy. My dad had a twin Brother, William or Bill. I found my full sisters in 2001. They had been searching for a brother.
