Born Dennison, Tx, adopted through Sherman (County seat), Grayson, Tx I am adopted mother of Christopher Neil Beck ( now age 44) and have his permission to search. We adopted him at 2 1/2 weeks old. At time of his birth, Grayson Co, did not have a family ready for an adoption. They called Dallas County and asked if they did have a family looking for a child and they did - me and my husband.We went to Grayson Co Court house to receive the baby and back there for the formal adoption. He has now become interested in finding his birth parents and ask me and his sisters to see what we can find. What procedure do we follow?
