I have born on January 17, 1972 at the Nix Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. Sometime in 1972, I was removed from my parents custody and placed at Catholic Charities. I stayed there until I was placed with a White family. I believe that my birth grandmother met my adopted grandmother at Nix Hospital. My birth grandmother may have been employed in Housekeeping. Her name may have been Irene. My mother’s name may have been Elizabeth. My father’s name is unknown. However, he may have been incarcerated at a prison farm near San Antonio, Texas. My name Teresa is my birth name. My last name may have been Montana. My adopted father was in the Air Force and we left the San Antonio, Texas area once the adoption was finalized. The only thing that I posses from my birth family is a bracelet that comes from the Bell County Trading Post in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
