Lisa an Robert Goodwin adopted my son, they currently live in Greenville TX I believe and I moved back to my home state of New Jersey. Even though it hurts me to be states away from him, it was the best thing to do for my self. My son was born on may 16th 2006, his birth name was Sean Davis Kersey an his adopted parents changed his name to Cade Austin Goodwin. Cade (Sean), I never wanted to give you up and I hung on as long as I possible could. Lisa adopting you was only suppose to be temporary, then she talked me into an "open adoption". As soon as she realized I lost my copy of the paper that I made her lawyer write up stating she has to let me see you until you were 18, she disappeared with you. Every lawyer I spoke to wanted around $10,000 and at 16, I did not have that kind of money. As years went on, I just couldn’t bring myself to take you away from the only family you’ve ever known. Being a mother to you, was the best thing I’ve ever done. Your happiness and future meant more to me than anything and tomorrow you will be turning 15! I’m counting down the days until I get to see you again. I have no idea if you know about me or what she has told you, but I promise, I didn’t give you up because I didn’t love you, I did not give you up because "I was on drugs", I’ve never done drugs in my life and anyone who’s ever known me can tell you that. I did not give you up because I did not want you. I was 16 years old, homeless because of my mother (a story I will tell you about when we meet), just trying to make it through highschool while raising you alone and was taken advantage by some one with an endless supply of money and resources. Losing you was the worst thing thats ever happen to me but I hope they gave you a great life. Only thing that got me through the years was counting down the days and knowing that you would have a better life than my siblings and I. Happy 15th birthday baby boy. Last picture I saw online, you’ve had to been 11 possibly. I knew immediately it was you because you are my twin. Can’t wait to find you again. Lisa told every one in her life to never post any pictures of you so I have only 3 different ones since you’ve been with her. Please come find me. Let me explain what happened.
