My oldest brother was pressured by a Catholic adoption agency to sign adoption papers for a male child that he conceived with his girlfriend. Being young, scared & giving into the pressure while at his place of employment, he signed the papers not completely sure if it was the right thing. My mom, the adopted baby’s biological (paternal)grandmother has been wanting to meet him (adopted baby) ever since this happened. She (my mother) also tried to get the biological mother to let her (my mother) take care of the baby until she (the biological mother) was ready to take care of it, but she also was pressured by her mother, (the maternal) grandmother. My mom is currently 80 yoa and we were talking over the week-end while she was in the hospital and the subject came up about her wanting to meet him before she dies. (Paternal) Grandmother (my mother) & my sister visited the baby right after he was born, on 10/31/1972 in St. Joseph’s Hospital, in Houston, Texas. Biological mother’s name was/is: Theresa Butts (or Teresa, not sure of the first name spelling) Biological father’s name was/is: Joe Daniel Blanco We (Blanco Family) would be forever grateful to get in touch with this young man. We are a large and loving family who all still live in Houston and the Houston area. Thank you very much, Respectfully, Joyce L.
