I am searching for Robert O Meynier Sr’s biological family. I am his daughter Dawn. My father’s name at birth is not known. He was born on March 11, 1943 at Seton Hospital in Austin, Tx. His birth mother was admitted into the Home of the Holy Infancy in Austin, Tx on March 4, 1943. Her age is not known and there is no info on his father. He was adopted by Harold and Mayme Eckols Meynier of Baytown/Houston, Tx immediately after his birth. Harold Meynier’s brother is Dr. Maurice Meynier, who was Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Hospital in the Houston Medical Center for many years and he had ties to Catholic Charities and many other affiliates. I believe Dr. Maurice Meynier and the Meynier family were involved in my father’s adoption, and know who his biological parents are. My father passed away on July 23, 2008 in Rosenberg, Tx at the age of 65, it was his hope and mine(and still is) to find his/our biological families. Any information would be helpful and appreciated.
