My father was born in Austin‚ TX on Sept 28‚ 1950. The person named as the father was Albert Alsenz‚ but I am not certain he really was the father. Alsenz was born in 1911 in Brooklyn‚ NY. The mother is almost certainly Alice Marie Lane Alsenz‚ born in 1927 in Shandaken‚ NY. The social worker notes stated that the father said he was a wing-walker and a stunt parachutist and had several other children already adopted out. The mother stated she had at least one other child adopted out and another one in foster care and the state (NJ or NY?) was trying to get her to sign papers for that child to be adopted by the foster parents. My father was white‚ with blondish brown hair and blue eyes. He was stocky and 5’ 10" tall. The parents were both white with the mother having black hair and the father was said to have olive skin. The social worker could not get info about where the other siblings/half siblings were adopted. The Alsenz’ were listed in the Austin city directory for about two years and were also in the Kansas Riverside Sedgwick census for 1956 as having a Donald Alsenz and a Jack Alsenz with them‚ however it is speculated those two were children from the marriage of Albert Alsenz and Ruth Kniffen Alsenz Hartman Olsen. My father is now deceased but I would really like to know any relatives I might have. If you have any info‚ please respond with a message. Thank you
