My mother’s (adopting) OBGyn‚ Dr. Ed Jacobs knew my birth mother and delivered me along with arranging the adoption. My adopting mother was in a program with Dr. Jacobs to help with RH- blood type mothers be able to carry babies full term. She lost two through the program and Dr. Jacobs felt bad for her and helped find me to adopt. I was told my birth mother had a college degree and was engaged to be married while pregnant with me‚ but the engagement was cancelled so she put me up for adoption.
