I am attempting to locate my husband’s birth parents for the sake of his health. He is losing his eyesight and has terrible migraines. His adoptive mother, Inez Phillips Price, in Clarksville, Red River County, Texas passed away several years ago without any knowledge of his what he was experiencing related to adult onset of symptoms. His adoptive father, Ross Edward Price, was fearful that he would leave him and thus was not receptive to the idea of giving him the information. But, I believe, his conscience has chipped away at the idea just a bit. He did give me the name Gifford in passing and the his biological father is/was a mechanic and the father’s brothers were as well. This revelation was a result of an observation by the adoptee’s father referring to my husband as being a great mechanic. I have no idea as to which parent the last name belongs to. He was born in Houston, Harris County, Texas, and I believe Inez and Ross came to take him to his new home Jan. 3, according to a family bible. We have had a terrible time and have wasted many dollars with no answers at locating the cause. Any help would be a blessing. I wish I had more info to go on.
