To my birth parents: I was adopted in 1967. My birth certificate states I was born in Dallas although my adopted maternal grandmother states I was born in Coryell County, child to two college students who were both dancers. I was adopted through Hope Cottage in Dallas by my adoptive parents who lived in Hurst, TX at the time. I had a wonderful childhood, where my mother always told me I was "chosen". As an adult, I have always wanted to find my birth parents, to know my heritage and my medical history. I am proud to have been chosen, but would love to connect with the people that were selfless enough to offer me for adoption. I hope this search results in a meeting and continued contact if appropriate.
