I was adopted at birth, so I have no idea of any of my biological family. I would like to make contact with them if they’re out there because I have a relatively severe genetic disease that could really use some prior medical history. I was born in Dallas, TX. I believe my biological mother is from the Missouri area and was pretty young. Her last name may be Schultz (sp?), I know this because a medical band was left on me at birth that my parents (adoptive) kept. I’m honestly just looking for medical history as it’s somewhat vital to my personal health. My genetic disease is currently undiagnosable due to no prior history biologically and very little genetic data through genetic sequencing. It would be nice to connect with a biological family member to get this prior history and maybe be able to have my disease diagnosed. I have spastic paraplegia and bilateral peripheral neuropathy in my legs, causing severe walking problems. This disease arose suddenly on Halloween night of 2016.
