I put my son up for adoption due to the situation and I didn't want him to have to deal with the racism issues he might have endured then by family. Or so I thought. In Titus county‚ TX. I gave birth and before I was discharged I spent a few hours in the nursery holding him and singing to him. I had a long talk with him about why and how hard this was and I was hoping it was the right choice. I kept it open in hopes he would know me and his siblings‚ which did happen. We made trips once a year to Mississippi and they made a trip once a year. Now he is an adult and fighting for his daughter. His adopted family don't want to raise her‚ they want her adopted by some friends. We have a copy of is amended bc we are now trying to help him get his adoption records. Just don't know what county to go through.
