So‚ she was told she had to give her up. and was sent to Texas until she gave birth. She saw the bay girl only for a brief moment after birth and then the nuns took her away. She was almost 18 years old at the time. My mom was about 5ft 3 slender built black‚ hair hazel eyes‚ she also went by the names Julia or Jewel. She is Native American from California but married a man in the service at 15 years old and moved all over before baby’s birth she was in Colorado Springs. The birth father was a lot older than she‚ tall dark hair and slender built businessman‚ I think. His name might have been Wayne Heffernan.
