My brother was given up for adoption in Amarillo Texas and was placed in a foster home until he was 4 weeks old when our family finally got to adopt him. His birth mother named him Daniel and periodically sent letters to high planes children’s home which was the agency my parents used to adopt him thru and they in turn would forward the letters on to my parents.
