I am searching for my son that I was forced to give up at his birth. I was a methodist ministers daughter. I was 16 and had to hide out at a Methodist Mission Home in San Antonio, Texas. I gave birth to this child in June or July of 1976 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Tx. My Name was Sharon Kay Sayers. It’s done through an adoption agency at the Mission Home. The only thing I was told was the adopting Parents were active in the Methodist church and they had a 5 year old daughter at the time of the adoption. The Father was in the Petrolium (oil) profession (Scientist) and mom was into the arts and gardening. Wasn’t told where they lived but it wasn’t far from the San Antonio area. You would have to have the adoption records to ever find him I’m afraid. I have never kept this a secret from my family. I have had 4 children since.
