I am searching for my cousins. His birth name is Kevin Jacob Yost and he was born in April 2001 or April 2002 (I am not sure about the day) in Houston‚ Texas. He has a sister and her birth name is Kelsey Yost (Don’t know her middle name) and she’s younger and was born in April 2002 or April 2003 in Houston‚ Texas. They were both taken by CPS here in Houston‚ Texas and the courts granted the state of Texas custody of them both in January 2004. At that time Kevin was 20 months old and Kelsey was 8 months old. I tried to get custody of them and went through the whole CPS process but was not granted custody because of the sensitivity of the case surrounding why they were taken in the first place. My name is Tara Michelle Duell- Bailey and I am their first cousin (their dad is my Uncle). I have one picture of them together that was taken by their foster mom and given to me in February 2004 at a CPS meeting and it’s the only picture I have of them. I am hoping to find them both so they know and realize that they do have extended family who loves them and that they were wanted but the situation didn’t allow that and instead the state of Texas thought it best that they were adopted by non-family members.
