I am searching for my birth mother. My adoptive parents have both died and they told me the name and story of my birth circumstances. My birth mother was Nancy Diane Pittman from up north in PA or Mich. She came to Texas to give birth to me and her mother came with her. It was my understanding that I may have had an older brother. I was born at Pasadena General Hospital in Pasadena Texas on January 2, 1960. My doctor was Dr. Curtis Torino MD. She had originally arranged to have me adopted by a Church of Christ minister and his wife, but they found out that she was expecting and so they recommended my adoptive parents who were both school teachers and friends with the minister and his wife. I was taken home from the hospital when I was 1 day old and my adoption was finalized in Llano, Texas when I was 8 months old by Judge Ferguson. My attorney was Mr. James Knowles. I have had a most wonderful life and although I don’t know much about the situation that she was in to make the decision to put me up for adoption, I am very greatful that she cared enough to make sure I had a good and loving home. I would love to have the chance to see or speak with her or any siblings I might have. I have had a DNA test done and know that the name Pittman did have a great percent of DNA matches. I hope I can find out more before I die. Thank you.
