I’m a male, adopted in Wichita Falls, Texas (or perhaps in Cotton County, Oklahoma) in May 1965. I don’t have much info, but I’m told my adoption was facilitated by a local OB/GYN, Dr. Harry Ledbetter. Not sure of the hospital, but it was likely Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls. The birthdate on my current birth certificate is May 25, 1965. I’ve been told by relatives that my birth mother was possibly from the Midland/Odessa, Texas area and had come to Wichita Falls to stay with a relative until I was delivered.
