Hi I am looking for a Aunt of mine. Geraldine Cook birth mother is Eloise Hale and father Shelby Homes(Homer) Cook. Her mother and father were split up. Mother lived in San Antonio, Tx and father in either Rusk or Jacksonville, Tx. She was taken by the state of Texas along with her brother Larry Dean Cook. If you look in San Antonio newspaper in 1952, they articles about the story of starving children. I am not sure if her father Shelby took her or if the state kept her and put her in foster care. I have tried dna test with 23 and me and ancestry to see if I can find any one related to the ones I’m looking for.
