I was born in Houston‚ Texas. I’ve always known I was adopted‚ and have been told my birth mother is white and father black. They were servers at some point in their 20’s and had at least one son prior to my birth. I have been told my birth parents felt they could not care for another child‚ and selflessly gave me up for adoption. I am incredibly grateful for them and hope to have the opportunity to say thank you one day‚ as well as meet my biological brother(s). My parents always told me it is okay for me to seek out my biological parents - they know it’s a natural curiosity‚ and they know I love them. I truly hope I am able to find out more about where I came from one day. xo- Shari
