I am also an adoptee. I have always known that I had a birth sister, 11 months older than me, because of my adoption papers. My birth sister was born in Harris County (TX), I believe at a hospital in Clear Lake on March 27th, 1990. My birth parents named her Nicole. My biological parents said that the lawyer who handled the closed adoption was under investigation a few years after Nicole was adopted for processing illegal adoptions. From my understanding my birth sister was adopted the day she was born. She was born with reddish hair, fair skin and blue eyes. My birth parents said the family who adopted her were older parents.
