I am the grandchild of an adopted person.She was born in San Angelo,TX at St. John’s Hospital on November 17th,1927/29ish.I believe she was adopted about 3 - 15 days after her birth.Her original name was (I believe cannot confirm was) Bobbie Sue Cox (the Cox part I can confirm) her name was later changed to Janice Arlene Sherfey.She was adopted by a couple who was a doctor and a nurse(?) but they went by the last name of Sherfey. Some of the information above could be wrong forgive me but my grandmother is slowly losing her memory.
