I was born 3 months prematurely in Dallas, Texas at Parkland Hospital. I also had a twin who did not survive. From the notes given to my adopted parents, my birth mother was a college student. My maternal grandmother was a nurse and my maternal grandfather was an architect. Very likely of Russian heritage. A shot record from my time in foster care shows a handwritten name that is covered with liquid white-out. From the best I can decipher, it looks like Slivinsky or Slavinsky.
