My name is Sheena. January 5th, 2005, I was 20. I had just given birth to the most beautiful baby I and the maternity ward in Fort Worth, had seen in a long time. She was given the name Lillian Evelynne by me. Knowing she’d leave the hospital with that name, but soon leave the state with her parents as Kate Marie. The Gladney Center was a God sent to a scared, troubled girl, who only knew one thing: This baby deserved every opportunity in life, none, I could ever give her in my situation. I am still. Very scared, and troubled, but .. Kate will be 17 in January. I believe she has the right to decide if she wants to meet me. I want to give that opportunity as well. I love you. I always have. I loved you enough to provide only what a good mother would. A loving home. Even if it’s not with me. 🙂 Not a single second in my life, have I ever not thought of you.
