Searching for my maternal grandparents. My mother was adopted 11/4/1957 (birthdate) in Dallas‚ TX to a Mrs. Katherine (Kaye) Ward. We've been told that this adoption was closed. All of the elders in our family that knew anything of the adoption have long since passed on. I do not know my mother's born name‚ but from what I do know‚ she was adopted straight from birth. The only name she ever had was Karen. My Mom's genes run deep and I need to know where we come from for health reasons... plus My Mom has made a decision that she would like to know her biological parents and know if there are any siblings.
