Birth father (Larry) & mother (Charlotte) had a daughter whose given first name at birth was Destiny. I was in California when I got news about you in August 1990. Iraq had just invaded Kuwait and I was waiting to be sent overseas with the Marine Corps. Your mom and I were both young I didn't even realize I wanted kids until I got news about you. I wanted to be there during the pregnancy and your birth‚ tried many things to make it happen but do to world events‚ things just didn't work out and I remained overseas until September 1991. What I heard is with me not being able to be there‚ your mom being alone through the pregnancy and her making the decision to give you up was extremely hard on your mom. From what I have been told‚ you were born in San Antonio‚Texas on May 14th at 4:21 AM‚ weighed 7 lbs 6.2 oz and were 19 3/4 inches long and were a beautiful baby girl. If you were born within a few days of this date and the other details seem to align‚ I would love to hear from you. I think about you often‚ and have been registered with both the Gladney adoption registry as well as the Texas adoption registry for a long time in hopes of finding you some day. Hopefully one day I will have the pleasure of meeting and getting to know you.
