I was born in Houston Texas on April 28, 1959 at Methodist Hospital. My adoption was set up before my birth. My adopted parents were a doctor and an operating room nurse in the Houston Medical Center. My adopted parents told me my birth parents were college kids from the Boston area. But later was told my birth mother was very young...approximately 13-15 at the time of my birth. I was told this when pregnant with my son. My adopted father told me my birth mother hemorrhaged and almost died after I was born. I was a small baby, less than 6 lbs, possibly a premie, and spent time in an incubator before going home. My adoption was final in December of 1959.
