Smithlawn: Lubbock: Looking for Birth mother. I am a female born on Dec. 15, 1990 at 2:48am, 7lbs. 4 oz. I was born in Lubbock, TX and adopted through the Smithlawn agency. My birth mother said she was 16 at the time, but doctors suspected her of being 14. She was 4’11". At the time she was single with no other children. She was in the 9th grade getting B’s and C’s, had a part-time job as a waitress. Was a member of the Catholic Church and is Mexican American. She wanted to get her GED and go into law enforcement. She had 3 other siblings (2 sisters and a brother) who lived with her mother. She lived with her father, but hadn’t seen her mother in 6 years. She said that my birth father was 21 and about 6". He wasn’t aware of the pregnancy and she didn’t know where he was. They had dated for 2 years.
