Born 10-6-1969 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas TX. I know my birth father’s info and have met his family. He is deceased. So is my mother. Her 2nd husband adopted me to change my name to his in 1972 or 1973. My mother and my stepfather are deceased as well. I need a copy of the adoption decree for my application for citizenship in the Cherokee Nation on my mother’s side. I just don’t know where to start to get that.
