Born in Dallas Tx. Birth mother: Linda M Gill. She was 18 at the time of birth. Her mother signed my birth certificate as well. Her name was Helen Gill. I have contacted my adoption agency (Hope Cottage Dallas Tx) and they informed me that my adoption was a “closed one”. I petitioned the court and got my original birth certificate which is how I found my birth mother and grandmothers names. I have completed a DNA test through Ancestry and found a distant cousin (the closest possible cousin according to results) but she was adopted as well and did not know how we possibly were connected. Ancestry.com did list her on the paternal side. I have searched social media relentlessly and even messaged several people named Linda Gill but to no avail.
