She was born in 1892 in either Texas or Illinois. We think she was born in Texas because her adoptive parents were born there. Although‚ She could have been born in Chicago‚ Illinois because her birth all of the indexes I could find listed her as being born in Chicago‚ Illinois. I never could find her actual birth certificate.
